Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how prevter (“I”, “me”) handles information in connection with the Phantom Pad mobile application (“App”) and the accompanying open-source server software (“Server”).
1. Information I Collect
Section titled “1. Information I Collect”I do not collect any personal information directly.
The App itself does not gather, store, or transmit any personal data to me or any server I operate.
Controller Input Data
Section titled “Controller Input Data”When you use the App, button and analog input data is transmitted over your local Wi-Fi network directly to the Phantom Pad Server running on your PC. This data:
- Never leaves your local network.
- Is not sent to any remote server.
- Is not logged or stored by either the App or the Server.
Advertising (AdMob)
Section titled “Advertising (AdMob)”The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may automatically collect certain information to serve relevant ads, including:
- Device identifiers (e.g. Android Advertising ID)
- IP address
- General device information (model, OS version)
- Ad interaction data (views, taps)
- Coarse location, if permitted by your device settings
This data is collected and processed by Google, not by me.

You can opt out of personalized advertising on your Android device under Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID or Opt out of Ads Personalization.
2. Children’s Privacy
Section titled “2. Children’s Privacy”The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has used the App, please be aware that AdMob’s data collection is subject to Google’s own children’s privacy policies.
3. Data Sharing
Section titled “3. Data Sharing”I do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. The only third party involved in any data processing is Google (via AdMob), as described above.
4. Data Security
Section titled “4. Data Security”All controller input is transmitted within your local network and is not exposed to the internet under normal usage. I do not operate any backend servers that handle user data.
5. Changes to This Policy
Section titled “5. Changes to This Policy”I may update this policy occasionally. Any changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
