Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Phantom Pad (the “App” and/or “Server”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the software.
1. License
Section titled “1. License”The Phantom Pad Server is open-source software licensed under the Apache License 2.0. You are free to use, modify, and distribute it under those terms.
The Phantom Pad mobile app is proprietary software. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it on your personal Android device for personal, non-commercial purposes.
2. Use Restrictions
Section titled “2. Use Restrictions”You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the mobile App.
- Use the software for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to exploit the software or the local network protocol to interfere with other devices.
- Redistribute the mobile App outside of the Google Play Store.
3. Ads
Section titled “3. Ads”The App is free and supported by advertising via Google AdMob. You agree to receive ads while using the App. Ad behavior is governed by Google’s Terms of Service.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
Section titled “4. Disclaimer of Warranties”The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind — express or implied — including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
5. Limitation of Liability
Section titled “5. Limitation of Liability”To the fullest extent permitted by law, prevter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
6. Third-Party Components
Section titled “6. Third-Party Components”The Server uses third-party libraries listed in the README. The Windows installer includes the ViGEmBus driver, which is subject to its own BSD-3-Clause license.
7. Changes
Section titled “7. Changes”These terms may be updated at any time. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance.
